Some very cool person by the name of Christopher Barrett sent me this :)

Unfortunately it’s getting to the point where I’m starting to run out of room on the applet for people to thank, I might have to have an ‘additional thanks’ section on the Caverns of Underkeep webpage.

I’ve also been thinking about how to best record high scores… I’ve even been toying with the idea of only recording the names of people who actually finish the game and create a ‘Hall of Legends’ within the town. What do people think?

Picture looks good :) Nice work that guy. Perhaps have an additional thanks section below the ‘How to play’ section?

The only thing that the ‘Hall of Legends’ puts into my head is, what if 34562789 people finish the game? would it just show the top 50 or something like that? Perhaps with big shiny letters for the top three…

Hall of Legends sounds like a good idea. That way if you pick a ‘tough guy’ class and don’t finish the game, you ain’t so much of a tough guy…

I’m seeing good things all round, very nice.

I think I’ll have a ‘view this months legends’ and ‘view all legends’ - Will also record number of steps taken, score and class type so you can filter the results.

I’m going to add a how to play dialog when you enter the dungeon for the first time, because - well people don’t read that stuff down the bottom :)

Put a help button up the top of your page that opens the text down the bottom in a little window. Then people will read it. Betcha :)

That might just be a good idea, unless everyone has pop-up blockers.

Ah Chris, you are doing it again!

My pop up blocker doesn’t block new windows if I physically click a link that opens a new window. It just blocks the sneaky pop-ups that pop up on their own.

And it is a good idea. It’s the only good idea I’ve had all day today. :-D BTW, remind me tomorrow and I’ll drop you round some fish.
